Research Interests
  • Mr. Sibilia's specialty is innovation, design and fabrication of systems involving combinations of thermal and fluid systems, control systems, electronics, instrumentation and machine design. He is also experienced in plastics processing and design for manufacturability.

Experience
    Prior to joining CDI, Mr. Sibilia was Vice President of Engineering for AIL Research, Inc. There, he developed high efficiency liquid desiccant air conditioning systems. He was primary investigator on a DOE Phase II SBIR entitled "A High Efficiency Air Conditioner for Humidity Control in Residences" which would produced an air conditioner design with twice the dehumidification of a conventional air conditioner while using 25% less compressor power.

    Mr. Sibilia has been granted seven patents in the area of plastic heat exchangers, absorption and liquid desiccant air conditioning, and control circuits.
