- Joined CDI in 2005
- Ph.D., Duke University, NC, 2004
- M.S., Moscow State University, Russia, 1996

Research Interests
|
- Structural and acoustical properties of periodic structures. Development of efficient numerical methods for calculation of effective structural properties as well as acoustic far-field of periodic structures.
- Vibration isolation. Using "pass/stop" band behavior of periodic structures to prevent gross structural vibration and acoustic radiation.
- Turbulence modeling in fluid/structure interaction problems. Flutter, flow separation, enhancement of aerodynamic and acoustic properties. Vortex generators in applications to wing aerodynamics and cavity acoustics.
