Research Interests
|
Dr. McKillip has led research programs on modeling, simulation, instrumentation and control of a variety of
aerospace systems that have included rotorcraft, fixed-wing aircraft, UAVs and ejection seats. He has developed actuation
systems incorporating Shape Memory Alloy materials that provide discrete control functions and operate with extremely small
power requirements, miniature instrumentation packages for on-blade helicopter sensing, computer software for networked
simulation and visualization applications, and embedded control systems for in-flight data processing.
